Bold or Safe?

Hi! Picture this: You wake up early for school. You open your closet, and you see tons of clothes. Do you choose a bold outfit or a safe but cute one? It's hard to choose between these, for many reasons. Here are the reasons why.

1. You are afraid to stand out. Don't be afraid to show the real you. If your on the safe side, choose a comfy tee and compare with a bold accesory or manicure.

2. You don't know what trends are in, out, and what will be in soon. Hello? That's what this blog is for lol. You don't know a style, then make one! People will be likely to follow within a weeks amount of time. If you wear a style that is tragic, you'll be caught in a situation. To get out of it, say that "what you're wearing is a style in (Spain, Paris, etc. Any far away country famous for style.) If you are more on the follow-not-create side and you're desperate to know a trend, Try these things:

a. Call/Text a Friend.

b. Look at the latest design mags (Teen Vogue, etc.)

c. Become (real not fake) friends with a popular trend-setter and look at her closet. LOL.

3. You'd rather send a "I don't care what I wear" message. Just because you wear good clothes doesn't mean you can't have a good personality! Try to live it up more and be who you want to be.

Ok, so now you know the reasons. Here's the BOLD fashion updates:

  • Get ahead: Bold is in for summer and late spring. Bold pinks and blues are defidently good choices. (Note: DO NOT wear bold around Easter, Christian or not.)
  • Light, breezy dresses are in for spring and summer. Light colors and sometimes blacks are acceptable. They say "bold yet comfortable."
  • Leggings are so beyond out for spring and summer. Don't even try to use leggings and consider it bold.
  • Jeans (Preferably light) are bold if compared with a funky belt that says "fashionista." Ran out of belts? Here's a substitute: Use black sharpie markers to draw stuff on your jeans. Can only work if you have enough jeans.
  • Manis are so in. Bold colored manicures are acceptable in some days of spring and summer. Use this tip every once in a while, but don't over-do it.

And so far that's it! If you have any comments or suggestions contact me or comment this post.

Party Time!

Ok, so you have a party coming up and you have nothing to wear? You will now. You can deck out in a totally glam outfit, or a casual yet cute outfit with awesome accesories. If you're going to go glam, you need to add something more you, like some fab boots or creative accesories. These things are considered glam:

  • Tube Tops
  • Camis
  • Halters
  • Jean Skirts
  • Dresses
  • Uggs Boots
  • Diamond Necklaces/Bracelets etc.
  • Manis/Pedis

and if you're going casual, these are considered... well... that:

  • Graphic Tees
  • Loose Shirts
  • Jeans compared with loose-like shirts
  • Clear Manis/Pedis

So if you checked out the last post, you'd see the quiz on what style type you are. If you take that, you'll see if your style is casual or fab.

Now, if you want to wear an awesome outfit to a party that's trendy yet you, you'll need to follow these rules:

1. PUT IT ON. Follow a trend and copy it. Don't worry, this is just step one.

2. MIX IT UP. Add on some adorable accesories.

3. FIX THE FACE. Add a cute hairstyle that's sophisticated yet casual like a messy bun or a hair straitening. Put on some cleanser and lipgloss and you're good to go.

4. SHOES MAKE THE OUTFIT. Add some glam heels or some Uggs.

And that's done! Now you have a new look that's so you. Enjoy the party! :)

Heyyy! Ok picture this: You wake up in the morning and realize it's St. Patrick's Day. You woke up an hour before school, so you have enough time to pick out something green to wear.

Before that happens, you need to do one thing- SHOPPING! But what to buy? It depends on your look. Do you consider your look the 3 Cs (Comfy, Casual, Cute) or the 3 Fs (Flirty, Fashionable, Fun)? Take this quiz to find out.

You have to decide between buying a hoodie or an awesome light pink cami. Which do you pick?

A. Hoodie
B. Cami

It's the weekend, and you're not going anywhere. Do you:

A. Throw on a loose but cute shirt
B. Decide to go all dressed up and wear Mini Sand Uggs Boots with a Light Pink faded short sleeves shirt with Sand/White colored lettering and a bracelet.

You decide that you want to start your own trend. What would you pick?

A. Comfy is the new cute.
B. Preppy & Flirty is in.

If you chose mostly As your style is The 3 Cs. You love being comfortable, no matter the cost. I recommend to save your style for the weekends. You can change your style by adding some funky accesories to your outfit and voila--- your look is transformed.

If you chose mostly Bs your style is The 3 Fs. Flirty, Fashionable, and Fun. What else is there to say? Your always prepared for a date or even a little flirting. :D

Now that you know your style, you know what your looking for. Now you just need some ideas. Here are some perf pics of some fab clothes for St. Patty's Day above.
Now that you've seen them, you can order them and add your own flair to them, like a hoodie or a green shamrock charm bracelet and you're good to go!
